John stood behind the Congressman as he finished talking with the last two people, thanked them graciously, said, “I've got to go meet the press now,” and turned to leave. Suddenly he was opposite John’s smile, with a face like oiled dough, eyes a little dark and hollow, like they're further away than they actually are, his jet-black hair still perfect. “Hello, Mr. Rouzer.
